VRRA members must sign in at the entry door to the AGM by using the provided highlighter through their name and membership number on the attached membership list .You will be handed a ballot to vote for the member you believe is most deserving for the Roger Beaumont Award.
"Roger Beaumont was well known to road racers in Canada in the 1960 through early 1970’s era. Regrettably he died at the young age of 41 years. His longtime friend and competitor John Davies established the Roger Beaumont award in his memory.
The Roger Beaumont Award is presented annually to a racing or non-racing member recognized for their outstanding contribution to the VRRA over the last year. Please review and cast your vote by checking the appropriate box. If you wish to nominate someone else, mark the “Other” box and write the name of your nominee on the ballot"
Attending members may also bring a Proxy vote from another member to vote on their behalf on any resolutions requiring a vote at the AGM " http://www.vrra.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/proxy.png "
All Proxies must be printed completed, and handed to Doug who will give you a card to hold up showing your additional Proxies if a vote is taken on any resolutions at the AGM.
Thanks
Doug Forbes

The candidates for the Roger Beaumont Award are not posted in advance. The candidates are chosen by the Executive and the members are given the ballots with the candidates names when they sign in to enter the AGM. The box for their completed choice is on my desk at AGM sign in.
Thanks
Doug

Thanks Doug. Just didn't know if they had been published on Facebook or not as I don't have access.
