I'm rebuilding a 74 MT125 dual sport that was left under a deck at a cottage for 15 years. The points are shot. Does anyone have a source they can suggest/recommend?
I recall a gentlemen at the Milton swap meet a few years ago had a great selection of points and condensers and I managed to get replacements for my 64 Cub, but I've lost his card.

My local Honda dealer was able to provide OEM points for
my 1967 CT90. That was 6 years ago, but I’d try Honda first.

Maybe a little more than you want to spend but its better than messing around with 50 or 60 years old electrics

I install a lot of Vape ignitions and the quality is very high.

CMSNL have them but the price is mental (maybe that’s what points cost now)
https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-mt125-elsin ... E++06.htmlBut I would think if they have them any Honda dealer could get them.

Hi,
Probably the guy you are looking for is Tom Pelc, who lives in Guelph. He shows up at most of the bike events with a ton of parts and has a vast assortment of NOS points and maybe something to fit your bike.
Sorry, don't have his contact info at hand, but I'll look for it and post it or pm you.
Patrick

Thanks for all your replies, I was able to get in touch with Tomas, as expected most of his inventory is in storage but he's going to try and take a look for me.
I assumed (maybe wrongly that Honda wouldn't have these, your right it's worth a call to check.
The CMSNL price does seem inflated, hopefully I can avoid spending that much, I'm trying my best to keep the cost down, but as you know that's often a losing battle on these projects.
