Vintage Festival Tickets...

Postby Brian Stevenson » Thu Jul 27, 2023 7:45 am

... can now be purchased through the website.

Sorry for the delay, we had to wait to see if we could sell spectator tickets or not.

Any issues feel to ping me at vrra.tickets@gmail.com.

I've had a few emails from users where their tickets ended up in their spam/junk folder. If you don't see a ticket in your inbox within 30 seconds check that folder.

The tickets come from the email address vrraweb@gmail.com

You can also add that email address to your whitelist/safe senders list to make sure they show up in your inbox and not the spam folder.

We are also using a new SMTP relay so can actually see what folder the tickets email went into, if you opened the email, how much of the email you read and if you printed the email... Big Brother is watching :D

A Note for Bell Canada Customers...

If you use Bell Canada Email and have a bell.net or sympatico.ca email address you may have a problem getting VRRA tickets. This is not strictly a VRRA problem but will apply to a lot of your email.

Bell “upgraded” their email servers about a month ago and as part of that they (by default) delete anything that Bell Canada deem as Spam or Junk.

Its all part of Trudeau's Internet Censorship Bill.

If you don't get your receipt and tickets on your Bell email accounts, do the following...

1) Log into the web email at Bell.net
2) Click on Settings at the top right
3) Select Mail from the menu on the left
4) Select Security
5) Then for spam select Put in Junk Folder (Bell has set this to automatically delete things they deem as junk)

I lost around 40% of my mail when Bell did this.

You can also add vrraweb@gmail.com to your safe senders in the web portal and that should send all VRRA emails immediately to the inbox.

It seems only to be Bell Canada at the moment. Rogers and Telus emails still work fine.

Lots of potential spectators asking if tickets will be available at the gate.
Will they? Cash/Debit/Credit?

I believe you can purchase at the gate with cash. I'm not sure about debit or credit. I'll let Ian jump in.
