Final Season Standings

Postby aburns113 » Thu Sep 25, 2025 7:42 am

Hello. I had a great season of racing this year and I was just wondering when the final standings will be updated on the Website.

When I try to access the backend API on Mylaps it just throws a CORS exception - 'No Access-Control-Allow-Origin header present' so the server did not include the required CORS header, preventing the request from being fulfilled.

I need to change the software slightly where I authenticate the application first using my own Mylaps user ID and password and proxy some stuff. I believe the reason for the change is to be able to charge a fee for accessing data in the future.

I've been slammed this week but will try and make the changes over the weekend. Sorry of the delay.

Thanks Brian.
It's probably Garmin looking at ways to make more money off of their newly purchased product.

Alan

I'm working my way through these results but its taking a bit of time. There seems to be stuff mis-classified in MyLaps. For example the makeup Junior Open race from Calabogie was tagged as a Senior open race so when it was imported it was classified as Senior Open which messed up all the year end points. The Finals and Qualifying were also reversed so people were allocated the wrong points

There a a few examples of such things so I'm having to check and adjust everything manually. Ill definitly need timothys imput as well

Garmin is actually a pretty good company so fingers crossed they will address a lot of these issues.

Bad timing as well.

I'm working 18 hour days at the moment. Was on a call with a Chinese customer until 3:30 am last night. Its still fun though

The idea is that well ingest all the data and just correct and post oy period. I need timothys help on it as well. I'll do Invitational next

OK. Ive done about as much of this as I can.

There were issues where Mylaps mixed up the heats and finals and had the wrong classifications for some races but I think its OK now, although I im not 100% sure. If you see an error let me know and I'll look.

P3 Light had 3 lap races? I was in that race and I can't even remember what happened

There are 4 groups that couldn't be scored as when it validates the data it throws its hands up

SRA Sidecars
SOS
2stroke open
And BOTT (Sorry Alan... but modern lightweight is there)

I believe its because people forgot their transponders but were slotted into the order where they though they finished but they have no times and no laps so there is a constraint to look out for that. I need to get the paper copies from Timothy and I'll type it it in

SOS, I have no idea why its failing. I suspect its because there were heats and finals in Mylaps for that class but no bikes. If so thats an easy fix. I'll just remove the races completly.

If I get the sheets for Timothy tonight, I'll look at it on the plane.
