Tim,

Are there any updates that can be shared from the meeting with the exec on Wednesday ref which of the proposed new classes are green lighted for 2025?

When will the class rules be explained ?

Hi everyone, thanks for being patient wile I figure out all the finer details to the bonus classes.

So here they are...

Battle of the Twins

Any twin cylinder four stroke motorcycles that complies with VRRA rules, including Post-Vintage models up to the 2002 model year, is eligible.
The motorcycles are divided into two classes:
The Smalls class, which includes four-stroke twins up to 740cc.
And the Biggie class, which covers four-stroke twins ranging from 750cc to 1100cc.

2 Stroke GP Open

Any two stroke motorcycle of any year, up to and including 2025.
Class is divided into three divisions, Light, Medium and Heavy.
Light is for any liquid cooled two stroke, any number of cylinders, up to 125cc liquid cooled, and up to 200cc air cooled.
Medium is for 375cc liquid cooled and 430cc air cooled machines.
Heavy is up to 750 cc multi-cylinder air and liquid cooled.

Song of (the) Singles

Four stroke single cylinder machines of any year and capacity.
Two classes, Piccolo and Grande.
Piccolo is any machine up to 390cc liquid cooled and 500cc air cooled.
Grande is for anything bigger.

Big Bore Unlimited (Philip Island Machines)

Large capacity P3 and P4 eligible machines minimum 850cc.
Two classes, Philip Island (air cooled) and Baffin Island (liquid cooled).
Air cooled is for P3 multi cylinder up to 1380cc air cooled machines.
Liquid cooled is for P4 based 1150cc machines liquid or oil cooled.

Post Vintage Invitational

Middleweight motorcycles from 1997 to 2000 with like machines to 2006
Honda CBR600F4 to 2006
Yamaha R6 to 2002
Kawasaki ZX6R to 2002
Suzuki GSXR600 to 2003
Ducati 749 all except “R”
Suzuki SV650 all
Buell XB9R
Suzuki TL1000 all
Honda RC51 all
Honda VTR1000 all

All these classes and will run at all of our events.
In addition bikes may also run in Vintage Open Junior or Vintage Open Senior as a second class and can enter the Endurance Races including Tag Team.
