I was talking to my friend last night about his 500 Jawa land speed bike and he runs a pump @5PSI no regulator and just a T in the line to send the excess back to tank, he had used a reg, before but found it leaned out a bit in the top end..

So I don't want to re invent the wheel but what is the best setup. Motor is a Z1 Kawi, I have a fuel regulator so should I use a fuel pump that puts out about 3-4psi then dump the excess back to tank before the regulator because I only need about 1-2 psi, should I run the overflow tubes from the car...
