Re: 2016 HB Cycle Vintage Festival Working Schedule

sorry Ashton , it's just frustrating that all last year P1-200 ran with P2L and the first 2 races of the year ran in P2L and I've been building the little Yamaha to race in P1-200 all year for Mosport and then I saw the conflict . oh well , i'm sure it'll all work out Allan p.s I wouldn't fire you ,...

Re: 2016 HB Cycle Vintage Festival Working Schedule

Did you even try to read the post just previous to yours before making that wisdom-filled remark Alan?
I'll speak slower this time:

does it make you feel good Aston to publicly make fun of someone

Re: 2016 HB Cycle Vintage Festival Working Schedule

Looks like I don't need to rush and finish my P1-200 bike now either , I can't race 2 bikes in the same race now , why do you keep changing the classes every round ?

Re: P1 350 Project

even if it's 69, the P1 cutoff is 1967 . Who let it slide?
If thats the case, Yamaha also put out a weak little 2-stoke in 69….. called the R5
let the flood gates open

Re: Honda CB350 P-1 Race Bike

hey Colin, very tempting, but like Jamie said, I had an expensive weekend, the Yamaha and Honda are out of commission , and if I can't fix them in time for the next round, I'll be racing this stock 350 in both P1 and P2 lightweight. :?

Re: For Sale, 2, 1968 Yamaha YR-2 350cc bikes

hi Pat the 1967 Yamaha YR1-350 grand sport is a 3 port head and a true P1 bike. in 68 the YR2 was changed to a 5 port and the proto for the TR2 race bike. definitely NOT P1. I know as I'm building a YR1 for P1 this year. also the 68 YR2 doesn't even make it into the lightweight class in P2, as its a...

Re: P2 motor rules

definitely underpowered stock

but a built motor , like the one I had in my P-1 500 2012 Championship winning bike would be legal to race in P2 sidecar 8)
thanks Matt

Re: P2 motor rules

thanks

what part of the build would be twice as much, building the motor or the chassis ?
I'm assuming you're talking about the motor? wouldn't the chassis for the XS motor be relatively the same for a cb450 motor , they are pretty much the same size , no?

P2 motor rules

Hello Guys
I see in the rules that in P1 sidecars Honda CB450 motors must remain stock with stock carbs, can the motor be modified to run in P2 with 34mm carbs

just asking
