Gridding

A new grid arrangement was tried on Sunday, which I did not know about - one rig per row alternating left and right. I liked it. It gave us room and took up no more rows than 2 rigs every second row. Comments?

Re: Sidecar Reunion September 27/28

A great sidecar weekend happened at St Eustache - all entered rigs finished on Sunday. First three teams were within one second of the lap record. Let's get a good turnout and put on a show. Current VRRA entries should be Dave and Dale Mike and Sue Vic and Tom Miles and Shelley Gary and Sean Joe and...

Re: Another vintage sidecar round

There is great support for another vintage sidecar round. I will be speaking to Chris in the next week or at the Aug 9/10 RACE/SRA round. There will be a repeat of the year end barbeque provided by RACE that we attended at the final round last year so a sidecar pot luck may not be practical as the s...

Another vintage sidecar round

Chris and I have discussed if the vintage sidecars would be interested in racing at SMP for the last RACE round on September 27/28. This event is also the last round for the modern sidecars. Chris told me that the modern and vintage sidecars would have separate practices and races. Sue and I raced a...

Re: Bach to back races.

This is the same Sunday schedule for the last 3 rounds. I run P3L so am lucky to have a break however Sue is also in P4F3. It often causes problems to change a schedule so a short break between race 2 and 3 may be an option. Back to back on the same bike is one thing but changing to a sidecar is mor...

Re: overheating advise please

My engine runs very hot but it seems to be the nature of the beast. Oil pans do not help as they remove all cooling air flow past the sump. I have ducts in the fairing but no directional ducts to the engine. The oil pump is small and consequently flow is not very large so large coolers make little d...

Thanks for noting this Jim. I had sent it for posting several weeks ago and due to miscommunication missed the url in reply and then it slipped my mind.

Re: bumpstache

I fixed the problem from CTMP - fractured rod in camshaft that holds ignition rotor in place. Ewan can't make it, so I will be driving with Sandra in the chair.
