Re: Suzuki RG125Γ

Hi Michael The frame is an F and its from 1991. Its also from a WOL-F model that was naked, although its exactly the same frame as the faired bike and still has all the fairing mounting points as Suzuki never removed them. The forks will be from a VJ21 250 so they would they would have come from a 1...

Suzuki RG125Γ

Where would a Suzuki RG125 Gamma run. I'm building one for another series with a CR500r motor but may be interested in running it at the VRRA as well. It only mentions the 250 and 500 in the rule book and one is P4-F3 and the other P4-F1. P4-F3? According to the rules 500cc two stroke singles are el...

Can you mix Bias and Radial Tyres ?

The reason I ask is I'm building a P3H bike that will be run at both SOAR and VRRA. The bike will be around 170kg and I've been talking to the various manufacturers about running a 17x160 tyre on the rear and all have said its not a good idea as the load index on the 160 tyre is two small. In fact P...

Re: Yamaha TA125

OK. So this is a California bike and originally competed in AHRMA so if the VRRA just adopted the AHRMA class rules then its 100% compliant as is.

Sorry for the dumb questions.

Do you have a sense of how many people are interested in this class. I just don't want to be in a class of one :(

Yamaha TA125

I can't really remember but I think there was some talk at the AGM about a P2 125 class. There has been no discussion on it since then. Did this ever get passed and is there a copy of the rules somewhere? If someone could post them or PM them to me that would be great. I did have some questions thou...

Re: 18x4.5 rim

Unfortunately the 17" front doesn't help as I need to mount a 18" tyre :( .

Re: 18x4.5 rim

Thanks Paul.

I was hoping I could just use something off the shelf but I can't find an 18" OEM rim that was 4.5" wide. Most from that period seem to be be around 3" wide

If there was, its probably unobtainium and very expensive anyway.

Re: 18x4.5 rim

I guess the other option is to take 2 x 3.00" rear rims cut the the shoulders off one then cut the center out of the other and weld the pieces together to make a wider rim. Union Rim in Toronto do this.

Will it pass tech?

Thanks for looking

18x4.5 rim

Not sure where to post this but does anyone know what bikes, if any, came with 3.0" and 4.5" wide, 18" diameter front and rear wheel with a dual disk on the front and a disk on the rear? A cush drive is preferred as well. And I know Marvic do Morris replicas but I don't want to spend ...

Want to Buy - 125 GP Bike

Looking to buy a 125 GP bike that is eligible for VRRA and SOAR Lightweight Superbike

Therefore a later model would be preferred and given the choice I would probably prefer a Yamaha over a Honda but will look at either.

Come on down. Lets make a deal.
