Hi all, sorry its a no go for this year, Chris did suggest an early discusion for next season if we want to do it next year. Hi Paul, an interesting thought; however it would be impossible to fit in another class for the last event. We have a really full schedule already. The SRA are joining us, the...

No word back yet from Chris, he will be busy all weekend I am sure. I will call him on Tuesday. So far we have two positive, 1 at risk of family meltdown and 1 iffy dependent on repairs. Paul.

Trail or not

In the past year or two I have become aware of several P2 sidecars with positive trail, sometimes as much as 1”. IMO these are not just hard to steer but dangerous to the other teams on the track The argument is often positive trail is “good trail”, the answer is a definite no. If you take your hand...

Having had Ian/Sandra lead us around on Saturday with Rabbie/Christina switching places with Marie and I, we expected Sunday to be at least a three way race. Replacing the un-screwed choke body which had caused some power loss on #4 Sat seemed to restore the motor to normal during the morning practi...

slow day Gord? my memory is going the way of my hearing but I do not remember a heard of P3 machines running prior to the rule change. I do remember a GT750 out a couple of times and that fits within the rules. Since the SRA has canned the big bore short bikes most of them have fitted 600cc modern m...

fastest lap

thought I should point out that the fastest sidecar lap at St Croix was in fact that of Ian and Sandra, who insisted on keeping close by the entire race. The lap record held by Andrew and Kat is unlikely to be challenged by a left hand P2 chair. Paul.

Loudon "Invitational"

Just got back New Hampshire where we ran a rain race with 9 rigs. #4 finished 5th behind Doug Donelan and Sandy Harris, Luigi and Cristy, Bob Demetrius and Christina who flew in from the UK, Marcus and Jay?, with Bruce Richmond and Luigi's son ? right behind us. There were some drivers and passenger...

Ian and Sandra, and Marie and I swapped the lead for about 4 laps, until Ian slowed due to fatigue? Malcolm and Jan have picked up the pace considerably, Jake and Hugh made a good showing and being the youngest team there, we expect them to speed up as the old farts slow down. fastest lap was a tent...

To Bob, Jay, Mark et al, this is very generous offer well worth the effort of getting there. Marie and I intend to be at the Saturday-Sunday races but the Monday event would mean asking for 3 days off only a couple of weeks before being free for 6 during school break. I do hope other VRRA teams show...

Hi Roger, at 14kbs I don't bother trying to load video's or pictures since they usually get tossed after waiting a half hr or so. Be sure we all wish you well and will see you and share a beer at the Quinte. Paul.
