Re: Chair tires

I have one ten inch alloy mag wheel on my period one Norton Feddeman (sp) chair that was raced in the 60's so it should be legal. (I had it cracked checked before using it btw.) Check with Rick Yates the Holy Guardian Of Sacred Machine Preparation Eligibility Rules. HGOSMPER for short. No insult int...

Re: 2-strokes

Stephen, Are you going over to the Dark Side....:)?? You are correct about the T500 not being allowed mods when introduced. At the time the worry was that they would dominate the 650 machines. A TR500 engine likely would have. I remember seeing a two stroke machine with the pipes exiting stacked acr...

Re: Chair tires

My period one original Feddaman chassis uses and always has used a 10" mini wheel. I forget the section width but will look at it this weekend.

Re: New Volunteer Coordinator

Paul that sounds like a sticky situation. Rodney would be proud of you.

Re: Endurance Rule Changes

I think the safest way to run an endurance race is not to use motorcycles. Vote for me and we will dismantle the long funnel registry.

Re: Matchless G80CS

Got your message Stu, thanks. I will call him on the weekend for sure. Too burnt out these evenings to do it.
BTW the 52 M38 Jeep in the background is for sale as well.

Re: P3 light raw material

Shaun, my son-in-law is looking for a street bike. Are the necessary bits all there and is there a title?

Matchless G80CS

Too many projects, not enough lifetime. 57G80CS mostly all there and assembled, not titled as it was always used for competition, will need a good going over as well as the proper seat and exhaust. I will have it running again after march break. Last ran about 12 years ago and parked. $4,500. I will...

Re: prospective sidecar builders

Paul...Just curious about your statement "lots of room for other engines"...Where do you carry the other engines? Are they spares? Bob Hi Bob, Anyone with enough stamina in the workshop to run a Norton engine in a sidecar is allowed to have a back up engine on standby. Besides the rules d...

Re: prospective sidecar builders

For anyone considering building my original sixtees Fedaman (spelling?) is apart for frame repair. If someone would like to come and measure and photograph it PM me. It is a left hand chair kneeler set up for a Norton engine. Lots of room for other engines.

Re: all is quiet

Hi Francois, Wouldn't it be nice if everything was as clear as that. Unfortunatly writing technical rules that everyone will interpret the same way, especially when as racers and tuners we are looking for some legal advantage, is very difficult. That is why I believe the intents of the rules need to...

Re: all is quiet

[So the question here is, what exactly does "5% engine cylinder overbore allowed" mean? Also does the same limit apply to the Yamaha where it is already being allowed to use a 750 kit to enlarge it from 650? Thanks, Bruce Richmond #66 USCRA Hi Bruce, An example is if the class is 500cc it...
