Re: Kick Start found in Pit Out

If it has splines (XS650) likely Rob Gulemett's if a female hex that would be Don Wraggs.

Re: Try the Track/Parade laps

Jim, just as some spectators will not be viewing this forum, so too some sidecar teams do not look at it. Most drivers will take out passengers if not wrenching. While is is good to get sorted before the race weekend I doubt it is possible to dot the I's and cross the T's before race day. Paul.

Re: Try the Track/Parade laps

Two points Jim; anyone reading the T3 promo currently only one week before the event, will still believe that sidecars are on both Sat and Sun during the lunch break. Re: Try the Track/Parade laps

Just to clarify Jim, as I understand it: instruction will be at the drivers pit by the current monkey, and full race leathers are still required. This item should be arranged before signing on. One upside of the "after racing" format is that the racers will not be waiting for them back in ...

Re: running a starter motor on the xs engine

several of the racers use a separate mobile battery or booster pack with cables to turn the start motor from exposed terminals, thus avoiding voltage drop needed for ign. Rollers are another option. Paul.

Re: mid ohio

July 20-22 near Lexington Ohio. Most spectators go for the swap meet, last time I went there were 1000 swap tables there. Track is interesting with some blind corners and elevation change but nothing like Mosport. Gate fee $55 each, $80 per day entry fee, $100 for Friday practice, AMA lic, healthcar...

Re: home video sidecars

Being a proud Luddite I have no idea what technical marvels may project a VHS tape onto a white background, or if some one other than Halmar in Niagara can transfer the data onto a DVD ? Paul.
