If Jan and I had NASCAR'ed (blistered) our chair wheel like the pair of you did I'd be in like a shot. Get rid of that brake or fix the toe. Oh wait, you won just about everything. Never mind! :) You do bring up a point though... we may need to pick up some stock if we're going to keep using the whe...

Thanks to the SRA for the invitation! Unfortunately my window of opportunity has passed as I have to give a lot of notice to get time off and I work weekends. Therefore, as much as Jan and I would love to get out there, we have to decline.

Thanks again!

Ms. Boop is correct, you must be a full member of the VRRA to score points. Therefore non-VRRA participants will appear in Race Results but not point standings.

Thanks for trying Paul! Perhaps we can get commitments from enough of the group earlier in the year to make it happen in 2010.

Cheers!

It was the rear wheel and I'm going to get it all fixed up properly. I think the breaking of the spokes contributed and we just made sure it would all hang together for the final.

Thanks!

It was a terrific time! Once again, thanks to our fellow competitors and their friends, plus our friends (you all know who you are :) ) who came to the rescue by welding a cracked frame on Friday and fixing a wheel that had lost 7 spokes on Sunday. Obviously I am still learning about sidecar upkeep ...

Jan and I would truly love to be there. Frankly we can't as I only get one weekend a month off and the TT is it for June. However if someone wants to drive and can get Jan and the rig there I'm sure she'd go... erm consider it. Thank you for the offer and hopefully we can participate in the future. ...

To echo Mike...congratulations on the wins!!!

Hope to see you on the grids with the VRRA!

Is lexan period correct? *wry grin* The extra cost is not worth worrying about, at least if we hit a flocking bunch of seagulls we won't end up in the Hudson. I'm in whichever way you decide Paul.

Jan and I took a look, and wondered how you could do 113 miles on a rig. Noticed the large auxiliary tanks and thought (well I did anyway) I could put one of those on and have enough fuel to make it to my fav pub in Oakville and back. If I get caught I'll just play the age and isn't this the Isle of...

My above post may have sounded like I'm not happy with the rig Paul built. I'm hoping it wasn't taken that way because I'm very happy with it and looking forward to learning more and going faster!
