Re: who's coming out in 2011

Both Jan and I will out to all events this year as well as a foray or 2 into the US. I can't tell you what is being done to the rig as it has not been declassified by the powers that be. :)

Re: all is quiet

You go Stan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems as we go forward there was a hidden agenda, but it wasn't the executives'. I'm sad to see it and sad to say whilst Jan and I were hoping to go south at least a couple of times...we may do more of that and less of the VRRA.Which would mean while not giving up o...

Re: all is quiet

I think the Lakes will be making a couple of trips to the US in 2011 as we'll be concentrating on chair racing. Couple of points: The VRRA is not about making money, it's about racing old bikes. Sure it must be financially viable but I don't think P5 is the answer. One thing to consider is there are...

Re: 2011 Tremblant Info

Perhaps I'm too Auld...or too disillusioned. I'm fed up with the police state in Ontario that has more powers than a judge. I'm too tired with our so called elected representatives ignoring the people. I'm too tired with the hydro companies turning off power plants before we have the means to replac...

Re: 2011 Tremblant Info

Mid Ohio looks good.... Sorry, I posted the above without explanation. It's all I/we can do in this downturn to show up and compete. Were we silly with money before?...sure. However I'm not going to spend money reducing noise. I would spend money, if we had it, trying to go faster, but that's it at ...

Re: NORTH BAY

Fantastic job everyone! Despite issues with the circuit and the regrettably high number of crashes (not all caused by conditions mind you) it was a wonderful weekend. To those hurting, best wishes and get well soon!

Re: Runway Romp 10th anniversay Info!

A great way to defray weekend costs is to volunteer, as you always do Anthony. Gate is free for volunteers , perhaps if one or more in a family volunteers it lowers the total cost for the family. I should explain that an hour of oil checks, though valuable, is not considered enough to qualify for ga...

Re: Mosport Results

If a person/member has an issue with how things are done they should take it up with a member of the senior executive not the poor person just trying to help out. This of course does not give that person the right to abuse the exec either, but I'm sure rational discussion would be more productive. I...

Re: electric tach which fires every second revolution

I have two examples of a diode system that converts a single fire set of coils to a dual fire so you can use any cheap old tach. You connect one side to each of the coils and the other attaches to the tach trigger lead. Cost me about $20 each and would part with them for the same. I'm not sure about...

Thanks for the invitation Steve! Unfortunately I only get 4 weekends off during the racing season and Jan and I have dedicated those to the VRRA series. Hopefully we'll be able to wrangle a vacation around your weekend in the not too distant future, but it won't be this year.

Cheers!
