Re: 2020 Last/First Round Endurance Race

Mike, I have been talking to Kirby about adding Monday on to the weekend. I think we could get a discount on the track and make it economical. 4-6 hour race would be interesting but some logistics such as lunch for marshals might be the challenge. Re: 2019 Handicap Formula for Discussion

Brilliant Kirby! Still allows you to tilt the field by rounding up to encourage participation by handicapped bikes.

Re: 2019 Handicap Formula for Discussion

Ashton, The endurance is what drew me into the club. It allows me to share my bike with my friends and has enough moving parts to make the season unpredictable and interesting. (Kirby can attest to that this year) Simplicity is a good concept. The calculations I am suggesting require some inital wor...

If you are interested, text me at 705-562-8807 or messa...

2019 Handicap Formula for Discussion

The current formula (P3 Heavy to P4F1 bikes for example) is a fixed number of laps (5) to the handicapped bike (P3) converted to mileage. I will set aside the problem with the arbitrary amount for a second and deal with the calculation first. The handicap does not take into account the amount of red...
