Re: Looking for a Source for Points

CMSNL have them but the price is mental (maybe that’s what points cost now)

https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-mt125-elsin ... E++06.html

But I would think if they have them any Honda dealer could get them.

Re: Looking for a Source for Points

Maybe a little more than you want to spend but its better than messing around with 50 or 60 years old electrics

WTB Yamaha FZ8 (800) shock

Looking for a 2011-2015 Yamaha FZ8/FZ8N/FZ8S/FAZER8 shock. Either OEM or decent aftermarket is fine.

I believe the shocks for the FJR 1300 2001-2005 and the FJR A 1300 2003-2005 are identical.

Thanks for looking

Re: Armour Bodies

Brilliant. That explains when you are redirected to Woodcraft.

I still think this is the best stuff you can get. Canadian made as well.

Re: Board Software Replacement

Yes, don't worry about that. They are trying to sell hosting services to companies. We would probably just stick it in AWS ourselves The software is free and opensource. We also have the ability to change it as long as we contribute the changes back to the project. There would be a cost for hosting ...

Re: Board Software Replacement

Yes. The two hot ones at the moment are Discord and Discourse. One is based more on a board construct while the other is more of a collaborative construct like a lightweight Slack. You can read about the differences here https://unita.co/blog/discourse-vs-discord/ ignore the bracing as that talking ...

Board Software Replacement

This is just a discussion only. I'm not going to make any changes without agreement. The software for this board is quite old and its not really supported any more. I can keep it running as I have access to all the source code to make updates (I just had to make a change for a security vulnerability...

Re: Rules Clarification on Chain Masterlink

BTW, this was an attempt at humor. When my friend bought his TT500 this had been used to extend the chain and had been ridden on the road for many miles

Rules Clarification on Chain Masterlink

So these are lock nuts. Do I still need safety wire or silicone, or are the lock nuts sufficient. Its not clear from the rule book.

Thanks Jim.

I found one in my tote full of junk from a 600 F2 that bolts right on. I just had to swap the rod. Appreciate the pointer

Armour Bodies

I'm not sure of this is the right place for this question (mods pleas feel free to move) but are Armour Bodies still in business? I can't find their web site anywhere and when you click through on google it takes you to Woodcraft. The email I have also bounces. Looking for a set of race body work fo...

Re: 2024 endurance series

Ok. So I’m assuming the basic format will not change then. So if I build a P3 bike it will still slot into light, middle or heavy Vintage as appropriate and then handicap applied based on Period.

I am determined to not to be working on it the night before again this year :)

Re: 2024 endurance series

That would be great. I'm cobbling together an Endurance bike for next year so if there are going to be major changes I can build around them now.
