Re: sidecars in the future

There must be one or two in the northeast since a Tom Hirlihy took delivery of a right chair at Mid-O this past weekend. That is the only place I can think of that a right chair would be an advantage. There also was a new rig (one I haven't seen) at Mid-O that I think came out of the stable of John ...

Mid-Ohio 2011

Mid – Ohio had 7 sidecar teams’ show up plus 1 team in the making. On Friday Tom Herlihy took delivery of a right handed rig with a BMW engine. After working on it Friday and part of Saturday he was able to go out in the last round of practice to give the grid 8 rigs. All three days were scorchers a...

The search is on

I have been given an opportunity and I want to make this work. What I need is a sidecar that is reasonable. The other possiblity is teaming up with someone who is willing to travel in the states. If you are aware of one please pass my information on to the party. It doesn't need to be one to beat Pa...

Re: May 21-22 Loudon

If the weather was dry and everyone walked away it must have been an exciting event.
Hope to see everyone next week at Shannonville.

Re: Driver Wanted

I now have a driver for the Quinte with first dibs for Mosport.
The driver has not been out in a few years but wants back into the fray.

I am still looking for drivers to drive in the states.
Just name your event(s).

Driver Wanted

I am looking for a commitment from any vintage drivers for both the Quinte and Mosport. I have a possible driver for Mosport but nothing firm. I have raced at both of these tracks over the last several years even though I am from south of the border. I also would be interested in working with anyone...

Re: fuel cell

Fuel cell fender will generally accomodate more fuel for the longer race tracks. Rumor has it that someone ran 7-1/2 laps at Mosport last year before running out of fuel. Fuel cells for onboard use can be purchased by volume with the "sponge" in place. The normal location for the...

Re: who's coming out in 2011

I have been half thinking about getting a little more involved in the racing aspect. That is exactly how you get into racing. So following Roger's lead, Monkey For Hire ! Okay...not so much for hire, but at least available for all VRRA events. Available..Cheap and Easy! Hey enough already those are...

Re: prospective sidecar builders

For those in the north east USA Andrew Fairbank has also fabricated a rig or two. As Paul mentioned each rig is a little different because there is always room for improvement. Andrew has done just that in his building design not to mention his own rig changes a little every year. This past year he ...
