Re: projects

That's my buddy George

I think it is in the cards that Don and I team up again for the 2012 season.
With any luck Barber will not be the only race in the states.
See you next season at the track.

Re: barber

chairman wrote:if you have not raced Barber on a sidecar , put this one on the bucket list

To hell with that, he put me in the bucket!

It is a great place to race even with Don as a driver.
I would do it again in a heart beat.

Re: Barber this weekend

Hi Roger, I could have e-mailed you directly but we would all like to get a run down on what happened? Paul. Pea brain here was, is just too excited about Barber and was off a week. I believe at last count there was 13 known teams attending with a couple of unknowns. Grids in all of the races are l...

Re: Barber this weekend

Bring your bike with you that way you can cheer on the VRRA members in their classes and someone would cheer for you too. Of course every team needs a cheif cook and bottle washer too.

Barber this weekend

Who is headed down to Alabama for the racing at Barber?
I am trying to get a feel for how the racing is going to be.

Don and I will be teaming up again on the Triumph.

To think I survived Modern Sidecar Racing

I suppose that this is an appropriate final release from this past weekend from the Bonneville Vintage Gran Prix at Miller Motorsports Park sponsored by AHRMA. The sidecar team of Sean Bakken and Roger Preston aka. Roadkill Racers sponsored by The Roadkill Cafe` of Seligman, AZ had a decent showing ...

AHRMA @ Barber Motorsports in October - Ride Found

Anyone going to Barber?
Anyone looking for a passenger?

I will be there with my gear and I am also pre-registered so race entry is on me.

Re: roger preston

I was on vacation this past week.
Out of pure coincidence I sent you an email earlier today.
Based on this inquiry you wouldn't happen to be wondering about Barber would you; hint, hint?

You now have my email and of course this as an avenue to reach me.

Re: Mosport

Hey Don, I know for a fact that if you face the gasket areas you don't need any gasket material on Triumph race engines, just use the Locktite 545 (I think). I know someone who runs a solo 500. He is about 6'4" and 225 lbs. It is unbelievable that not only does he ring its neck but that he can ...
