Okay, again assuming there are multiple bikes on the lead lap of the final race and the same bikes have been on the lead lap of each race in the championship, all bikes would have different finish times throughout the season. But for simplicity I'll use the same times for the first 3 rounds. Bike A....
That makes sense- except why only the time difference at the last round? It should be cumulative if you want to do d it that way. Otherwise all you have to win is the last leg and finish on the same lap in the first 3. Doesn't make sense to me there. Assuming multiple teams have equal mileage going...
First round there were three teams on the lead lap at the end. That doesn't constitute a tie. Even if the same teams were to finish on the lead lap in each race it still doesn't constitute a tie. Their times are different so there is still a first, second and third etc. In the event of a mileage tie...
Om but if you are leading 1-0 after the first period, it doesn't reset at 0-0 at the start of the second. This is what is happening here... Okay, so change the score to 1-1 at the end of the first period, 2-2 at the end of the second period, 3-3 at the end of the 3rd period. (In effect, the score i...
You won round 1 but are now technically tied for first with both second and third place. You are essentillay back to square 1 with no advantage. You have a level playing field as though round 1 didn't really happen. This is counter to almost every type of race scoring out there. I would argue that ...
I remember at St E that the modern bike team members each used their own bike during their turn on the track, they just swapped transponders. I thought that the closing speeds were quite high between the modern and light weight/middleweight vintage bikes and if memory serves, there was only one vint...
I'd love to know more about this bike. Looks like a 1983-1986 gs750 or 85-86 gs1100 engine, 85ish GSXR body work, Frame looks like pre 83 GS, swingarm is pre 83, forks look 81 gs 750/1000 or earlier.
Regarding the fuel can, the 10L can is heavy enough when full. I've noticed fuel spill from a 10L can when trying to rush during a pit stop. I don't think i'd be comfortable using a can bigger than 10L. Maybe a quick fill can would be different, but i have no experience using one of those.
