Re: Paul Smart

Definitely one of us. I knew him slightly from his appearances in the South African TT and we shared some laughs at the 50th at Mosport.

If it's time, then he went the right way - out riding.

Glad I knew you.

Mosport

Here's a radical thought.

If we don't "belly up to the bar" on this one then it's probably over for the VRRA. So, lets go ahead regardless, empty the coffers to cover the costs and go out in style!

Re: Honda CB/CL carburator conversion

I have used snowmobile Mikunis (both 42 & 44 mm) for 30 years. One pair cost me $30 and the other $50 (that's probably $1,000 with inflation today!) from wreckers.

Re: cb350 engine build

Welcome to VRRA and the CB350 club! I think the reason to use the Tsubaki chain with the KA tensioner was the fact that, apart from better quality, the Tsubaki chain has full width link plates and not the "peanut" link plates of the standard chain. If so, any full link plate chain should w...

Re: What are your views on clutchless shifting?

1970 CB350, 1982 TZ 250 and 2015 FZ07 - clutchless shifting going up, always use clutch coming down. Never had a problem with shift dog wear.

Re: Bulletin Board access

Thanks Kirby - I think I've got it so I guess I'll just suck it and see and if I get in trouble I'll go whining to Peter Balfour!

Re: Bulletin Board access

For the computer illiterate,
Am I right in saying that it will be our Series Tracker user name?
If not, will there be a mechanism to confirm our access name, maybe an email?
