Re: 2023 Registration is open!

What do us old relics that don't have hi-tech phones do as regards to the waivers etc.? Sign something at registration or print the forms and bring them to registration?

Re: 2018 membership renewal.

Well, today, the 5th. Nov., ( Guy Fawkes day.) I renewed my VRRA membership through Series Tracker. I was instantly emailed a new membership card, unfortunately this new card shows an expiration date of the 4th. Nov. 2017, yesterday! As I already had a card with that expiration date I was not impres...

Re: The $100.00 endurance bike project!

This is probably not going to help much at this time of the year, but if the tire hasn't seated yet, at the bike shop where I worked we used to put lots of liquid soap on the bead and rim and inflate them to about 50lb PSI and put them out in the sun. The warmth seemed to soften them and after a whi...

Re: Warwick Cup

Thanks Pat,
I think the club is going to have to get together with the Warwicks about changing the format for the Warwick cup soon, the pre '65 500s are a dying breed.

Warwick Cup

I know my eyes are bad, but I don't see the Warwick Cup race on the Mosport entry form and yet it is on the schedule. Is it on or off ?

Re: 1931 Panther piston mod

Good job Ray, looks like something out my past. Have you thought of moving the top compression ring up onto the extension ?

Re: single piston ring

Just put the ring in the top groove, it will be fine, may even go better. I run my RZ 350 with only the top ring in the pistons and it goes great, less friction.

Re: electric tach which fires every second revolution

Hi Paul, I have a Magna tach that I tried on my old Norton special, it didn't work for me so I bit the bullet and bought a Scitsu. I'll bring the Magna tach with me to Mosport, you can have it, free, gratis. If you can use it, good. If not file it under "G" Dave.
