Airtech going OoB

At present there is no update on Airtech website on its status and it looks like it always did. However, there are lots of postings in many different MC Forums last 2 months stating he is closing it down. Some Forums say he is not taking new orders and others say he is but not for long. Seems his so...

Re: Looking for a Machine Shop in Ottawa region

Thought i would update this.
Power Automotive has my parts and should have it all back to me in a couple of weeks.
Not easy getting there as they shut down 417 access to Bronson Ave!

Sigh. Construction already and its not even summer yet! :(

Re: Looking for a Machine Shop in Ottawa region

Thanks for new suggestion. Will try them. Did they have another name before? Location looks familiar to me from the past. AB Toolex can't help me on either engine as it turns out. He can R&R guides but does not have the tools to do the rest of the work, same for the Cyl B&H. He does machinin...

Re: Looking for a Machine Shop in Ottawa region

Thanks for replies.

I had seen Sib's in B2B and noted recommendations for them but was looking for closer as they are down by London. If i can't find local i will contact them.

I will try AB Toolex on Monday and see if they can help. Perth is very close to me.

Dave.

Looking for a Machine Shop in Ottawa region

Seems Automotive Machine Shops are going the way of the dodo bird around Ottawa, closing and disappearing. Have tried a few i used to deal with and found them closed. I live in Ashton and was asking local shops for ATV and Motorcycle here where they go and found out they don't. Now they just buy a n...

Re: 2017 Rules

Was just reading the new 2017 rules and came across this on tires: Slick tires may be used on Period 3 and Period solo and Period 3 and 2 Heavyweight Sidecar machines only; in all other classes, tires must be treaded. So, only Period 3 solo can run slicks? maybe a "4" is missing in the sen...

Re: Online Registration... the wait is over

Noted some odd things when I setup my registration on ST. Not problems, just odd behavior, or maybe its just me. :) I hit backspace (<--) button to clear an entry and it took me back in pages vs back space the line I was on. For daytime contact, I wanted to change the number but when i tried to copy...

Re: 2011 Tremblant Info

Thanks for the answer, so its the long track.

That means I need to drop it down almost 7 dB to ensure a pass. That's going to take some work. I'm not even sure if the stock ones are quiet enough for that.

Re: 2011 Tremblant Info

I just looked up my noise results and note that I am louder at Mosport (5 dB over) than the two short tracks (TT and Qc at 2 dB or less over). MT shows 3 circuit configs, which one are we trying to get? My H2 can't use that 4 stroke noise reduction unit posted as its a 2 stroke, I already have my pi...
