Re: 2019 Handicap Formula for Discussion

Lets not forget the potential P5 classes...

Without any data, it's hard to determine handicaps.

2 options:

1. Slide into current heavy/mid/light and handicap accordingly

2. During trial run P5 as a separate class. We could use for data collection to determone handicaps.

Thoughts?

Re: 2019 Handicap Formula for Discussion

Thinking about reviving this. I know we have a few anomalies that need to be looked at. Calabogie seems to be the one track throwing a bit too much handicap at most classes. Generally i think Mosport and Shannonville handicaps work. But there is a huge difference in lap times between the venues and ...

Re: Lightweight endurance classes - Season

All modern lightweights would run together...
We would maintain the current vintage classes and handicaps.

Lightweight endurance classes - Season

I have been informed that CSBK lightweight and RACE lightweight class rules are essentially the same for 2019. This means that we could combine CSBK and RACE classes under one class. This does leave Lightweight Sportsman as having separate rules. But does anyone see an issue with this? It is basical...

Re: Next Year

There are subtle differences between the classes (as far as I am aware). So if you have a Lightweight that’s not legal for one series, you could run the other. If you call it RACE lightweight Sportsman than all the CSBK bikes and Lightweight production bikes could run and be in one class. I just th...
