Re: Passenger footwear

Marie has a pair of Alpinestars women's 8.5 with no sign of wear $50
not sure if she wants to sell other gear. I would likely let mine go since I wear proper gear on the street.
Also still have a bunch of short heavy spokes, perhaps if I laced the wheels that would help move them?
Paul.

I have 8 sets of 7G short 3", 3 1/16" mostly ss with some plated spokes. Nipple are a mix of std length and extra long, some 8G also. Most of the full width hubs CB honda and Kawi laced to 16" rims used these. $150 takes the lot.

Re: Fairing wanted.

Ron Brooks made the female molds for all the body works fi/glass. He has had some health problems of late and may not want (in the cold weather:confined space) to possibly aggravate any problems. Brian has the shield mold and should be able to accommodate those. congrats on the Inside Motorcycles ar...

Re: Questions for a sidecar project...

anyone who feels they should be allowed to use later technology to circumvent the rules; larger motor, upside down forks, aircraft construction frames etc. pushing the envelope is normal in state of the art competition, it is IMO destructive when applied to the "vintage concept".

Re: Questions for a sidecar project...

I should know better than to stick nose in but; having built two replica P2 rigs last winter a BMW and a Yamaha, I built a 10" car wheeled kneeler rig with Disc brakes in 69. We toyed with a V6 Chrysler outboard motor . There were basically no rules in Canada at that point. The P2 rigs in VRRA ...

Re: New team, new rig.

Sam Stoney ran a T500, Catherwood ran a Yamaha, one of the USCRA group bought Ozzie Auers Kawi triple. several others ran 2 stroke only a few years ago. A caution on the get out position shown, I thought after Hana's quick detachment others would revert to the std monkey's top end in line with the b...

Re: Sidecar Numbers.

re Norton rigs, I believe one would be Steve Jowetts which was converted and may be the Yamaha powered rig sitting some where last seen with Frans Van Loon and Andy Cowan. The other may be owned by Thane Gilles, in the Ottwaw Montreal area.

Re: clutch advice ???

Hi Brian, no faith in EBC. I used std plates for 14 years with no problem; you do need good (not warped steels), if friction are worn enough throw another plate in to make up the difference. Use std springs with 1/16-1/8" spacers make sure the o.d. does not bind on the pressure plate. I may hav...
