Battle of the Twins Race at Calabogie

I understand through the rumour mill that there will be a BOTT race at Calabogie. What bikes are eligible, and what year is the cutoff?

Any insight would be appreciated

P3H Endurance Bike loan

I'm just wondering if someone has a P3H bike and could do us a kindness by loaning it to us for Endurance at Calabogie. I'm building one but it won't be finished. I'm basically out of bikes except for an R1 and I've been told if I bring it we'll be lynched, even if we don't score. Happy to pay for w...

Wanted - Honda CB Triple Frame

Bit of a strange one but I’m looking for a period 70’s legal frame that I could use with a (mostly) 1972/3 Honda CB 535 Triple. An original or reproduction frame is fine. I already sent an email to Michael to ask about Engine Eligibility The problem with most Honda street based frames of the period ...

Rule Change Proposal

I would like to suggest a rule change for P1-350 based on supply issues, and the fact that anything you can get your hands on is clapped out I would propose we change this… "HONDA CB/CL/SL/350 twin cylinder machines, in order to be eligible for Period 1 GP, are limited to stock original equipme...

Re: Endurance Performance Index

After much discussion a 1% bonus was agreed for P3 classes. The 1% was my error as I read the current handicap for SMP for P3L (1.077) and rounded the .077 to 1.01 when in fact it is 1.10. Sorry Michael. Just to confirm as this confused the hell out of me when I was talking to Doug Andrich about it...

Re: New 18" Rubber for Vintage Race Bikes

I wonder if they just relabeled the metzlers that come out of their factory Possibly, but they do come in different sizes so you can get a proper 90/90 18 that would fit the CB350 front. I think the RR smallest front is 110/80 18. It could very well just be a branding thing as well where smaller bi...

Re: Endurance Performance Index

My $0.02 is this, and bare in mind that I actually couldn’t ride a rocking horse and I’m a sample size of one, but anyway. So if you exclude anomalies like Darrell Cooney (who would probably win on a Honda Cub) A more modern bike will give the average VRRA rider a distinct advantage, hence my initia...
