Re: Vintage Stuff Clearout

Hi Howard. I have no Daytona parts at all. Everything would have been from the 76 and 77 models. I I did have some RZ stuff but its all gone. I had a couple of cranks that were swapped out from the race bike - they would still be good for the street - and cases, heads, etc. The bulk for the RZ stuff...

Re: Web Site Issue.

OK. Connectivity to the web site has been restored. The web site was still running as it’s hosted in Cloudflare and not Kwik that hosts our DNS. The connection to it was broken When you typed in http://www.vrra.ca in your browser it went to the DNS server to get the IP address as that’s what the bro...

Web Site Issue.

All, We had a problem with our DNS (Domain Name Services) records for the website. Domain name services map Human readable web site addresses like https://www.vrra.ca/ to an ip address like 2345:0425:2CA1:0000:0000:0567:5673:23b5. It just makes it a little easier for us humans. You don’t want to rem...

Re: More Vintage TZ parts…

To be honest, I'm just happy someone could use them and they went to a good home.

When I die my wife will just call someone with a skip to clear everything out anyway.

Buying Tickets for the AGM

Was looking at the HTTP headers we received on the web site yesterday and I happened to notice that a couple of the x-forward-for fields in the HTTP headers we received yesterday were looking for this address. https://www.vrra.ca/agm&#136 instead of this address https://www.vrra.ca/agm That &...

Re: *REVISED 2023 Season Points

Thanks. This may seem obvious and there is maybe a reason why you can't do it but could you not use the teams feature in Raceday to track sidecar teams? It works fine for 2 person endurance teams. I'm not sure if there is something unique about a sidecar or if the software allows you to be a member ...

Forum Issue, or maybe a Feature

I got a help request from a VRRA member that was having issues posting on the forum, The problem was that an emoji of a “face with a stuck out tongue and winking eye” was pasted in as part of the message. This emoji is part of an extended emoticon set. Simple emoji’s are contained in 3 bits of data....

Re: *REVISED 2023 Season Points

I'm trying to get the sidecar passengers sorted out. I don't know Jason Fitch, Marc Rheaume or Alan Burns but maybe if someone knows them they could have them contact me. The current information I have is that... Alan was Jason's Passenger for Round 1 and Round 2. Marc was Jason's passenger for Roun...

Re: Testing the Waters...

3 Cylinder Yamaha 535LC Motor is sold I'm actually very happy about this one. It was sold to a Gentleman in the Belleville area who is a bit of a Yamaha RD/RZ aficionado. He's going to put it back in a stock RD350LC chassis and use it as a street bike and for display at CVMG events. Its really what ...
