Re: all is quiet

[So the question here is, what exactly does "5% engine cylinder overbore allowed" mean? Also does the same limit apply to the Yamaha where it is already being allowed to use a 750 kit to enlarge it from 650? Thanks, Bruce Richmond #66 USCRA Hi Bruce, An example is if the class is 500cc it ...

Re: Winter Sidecars , anyone?

Gary and Mary McCaw used to race a Norton/Wasp back when. It was common at the ice races in Bewdly to see a sidecar class. Looked like a lot of fun.
Paul I wonder how well our Feddaman would work on the ice?

Re: Mont-Tremblant

Dom, For me it is about the money. You assume too much if you refer to me with the 'BS' statement. I am not new at this, I know what things cost and how quickly those costs can spiral out of control. We all had a chance to run for executive and some went for it and were voted in. The club will now b...

Re: Mont-Tremblant

Hi Dave, I think you folks made the only decision possbile at this time. Bankrupting the club is not a good plan. Perhaps in the future we might be able to go there. Your first difficult executive decision this year.

Re: ...if I was the new Competition Co-ordinator...

I thought bringing in belly pans would be the tech guys job? Not that I am trying to pass the buck. Jim Hi Jim, It should or could be Jim, but when it comes to safety the Competition coordinator would have the right to force the issue in my opinion as that person is largely responsible to ensure ra...

Re: ...if I was the new Competition Co-ordinator...

Hi Steve, Sorry I messed up your thread. My comments were not related to yours at all. Should have started a new thread.

I it should have read 'If I were the new comp coordinator I would make belly pans manditory to help reduce oil spills.
Hope that makes it clearer.

Re: ...if I was the new Competition Co-ordinator...

I would insist on belly pans to reduce the amount of time needed to clean up all of the unnecessary oil spills and reduce the risk of hitting oil on the racetrack.

Re: Grampa's Series Points Awards!

Thanks for not telling me Brian. Well Tim, And I thought I had seen it all. I have never had to hold a man's bike so he could pee before. Don't think I ever want to again. It was kinda creepy. I am liberal but not that liberal. I wished I had my camera but I think the TV people got the shot. The CRC...

Re: Grampa's Series Points Awards!

How about the rider that asked me to hold his bike at the grid during a red flag so he could go and pee in full view of the entire membership. Old guys with large prostates! Who was that 154 or 254. Own up. Should be worth a couple of points at least.

Re: changing shock length

When we first put our rig on the track at Shuby our rear shocks were too short. The resulting wild gyrations on the race track had me seriously rethinking what the hell we were doing. Luckily other experienced sidecar racers were able to help us figure out the problem and the machine became manageab...

Re: North Bay mayhem

Larry: WTF were you guys doing up there, anyway? What indeed! cripes Doc Walker had to give me a quart of that pink stuff Saturday to keep my guts calm. It didn't work so I had to use a quart of Scotch instead on Sunday. (I wish) See how much better the day went! Get well everyone. Mondays suck, esp...

NORTH BAY

Peter and Jodie, Great weekend again from the North Bay crew. Would you guys mind putting the names of all the crew from North Bay on line so we can thank them for all the hard work. A lot of people work very hard to put the event on but most go unnoticed by those of us visiting the near North. Chee...
