Re: New challenge classes for 2025

Thanks for all the questions guys. This is why this post is here. :) OK, so the final definition of the classes will be worked out later so nothing other than the concept is what I'm putting forward. I'd just like to see interest in the classes as I think offering a varied selection of racing motorc...

Re: New challenge classes for 2025

Exactly. I know numbers for those classes might be low for either of the Shannonville rounds. But they should attract a lot of interest at Calabogie and Mosport. I'm hoping to attract bikes with no where else to go. A swarm of RZ350's on the grid would be a sight not seen in a long time. Filling out...

Re: New challenge classes for 2025

From the AHRMA Handbook;

8.8 OPEN TWO-STROKE
Open to any two-stroke motorcycle, regardless of displacement, number of cylinders,
frame type, cooling type or date of manufacture.

We can eliminate the classes in the 2TGP and just run it as an Open.
Not a problem.
Easier for me to grid. :)

Re: Phillip Island class

Yes, sort of. Instead of a class just for Phillip Island bikes I'm working on a 'Big Bore Unlimited' class for all bikes that don't fit into the regular classes. I'll be posting a poll to see which special classes members want to see next year and have discussions about them. Should be up next week ...

Re: Endurance Practice Transponder Requirement

Transponder rental is $75 per event from the VRRA.
So $170 for the year is a notable savings.
Yes, we require transponders during practice.
If you are in the endurance just use the Tag Team transponder when you go out.

Re: Electronic Waiver with no Mobile Device

Hi Pat,

Just show up at registration and I or one of the other registration staff will use their phone to get you signed up. We do that for a half dozen members every year.

No problem.

Re: 18x4.5 rim

1987 and 1988 Yamaha FZR1000 had 4.5" x 18" rear and a 3.5" x 17" front.

I have a set I'd be willing to part with.
