Re: Endurance races and lap records.

I would agree with you in that there should be lap records for endurance as well, however rolling them in to the sprint race records would not be fair to those who hold the records in those sprint races unless we completely changed our system for lap records. For example, last year I beat the p3 lig...

Re: Round 4 Endurance Results + Season Totals

I was not aware that race control were the ones scoring endurance and applying points penalties, that's the first I've ever heard of that and frankly I find it hard to believe they made the decision to deduct 4 laps on their own if they did in fact make that decision. Also I am well aware that both ...

Re: Round 4 Endurance Results + Season Totals

Scratch the above, just saw your spreadsheet attached,
Really we were deducted for a power wheelie on a 900+ CC vtwin and a very small celebratory burnout in the pits in a safe space?

I am contesting these deductions.

Re: Round 4 Endurance Results + Season Totals

Good morning, I just looked at the endurance results today and noticed that we were awarded 2nd place in Heavyweight endurance even with being a lap ahead on a bike of the same period (period 5). We should have been awarded 1st place. How is it that the riders in 2nd place were given a bonus on us? ...

Re: Custom front Sprocket

Have you taken a look through the JT sprockets book?
It takes some time, but I'm sure there are many other bikes using the same sprocket spline size and count.
I've used this method to find several custom sprocket offsets etc.

Re: Battle of the Twins Race at Calabogie

I initially liked the idea of a battle of the twins race but having reviewed the eligible motorcycles it doesn't make sense to me. A modern 300 vs a 1981 KZ 440 , no comparison. IMHO this race should be limited to P4.A better match would be a 87' CBX 250 VS a cb 450 or KZ 440. I think the idea here...

Re: Battle of the Twins Race at Calabogie

Yes it is one time slot on the schedule. As very much a lover of twins and singles, I really do think a battle of the twins could be a really great idea if structured safely and appropriately. However, do we really think it is a good idea to potentially have a 28hp Honda CB77 out there racing a spr...

Race Class Entries- Visibility

I'm wondering if there is still a way to see who is entered for what classes on raceday?
With series tracker, we could always see who was registered for each class, is there any way to see the same on Raceday?

Thanks!

Re: 2024 Rules and Procedures

I find it impossible to believe that the Tech committee would vote in favour of a change to radial master cylinders for our pre 1982 class. I also think it extremely unlikely it would have passed a membership vote. Hi Matt, the change does not allow Radial masters. That portion of the change (clari...

Re: 2024 Rules and Procedures

Per AGM minutes posted on our website ; "Freeze Class Rules: Discussed and motion for it passed. As of January 2019, the rule book is frozen for the time being." It was my understanding that no class rules were to be changed unless there became a safety concern or availability concern. Als...
