My only concern is how can one test this before the first round?

Fortunately for me I passed Calabogie's sound test last year, so I imagine I'd be good. Yet it still raises the question how can one test in advance?

Bump...since the bike show ended and some newbies may be lurking for a beginner bike.

This bike is a great beginner bike, the stock handlebars are going on (can still race them) and the tires are good for a season at least.

All you'd need is a belly pan to race.
